Hey! I hope everyone's been doing well, life is going a bit too quickly for me. Aiming to finish my Master's thesis this summer (yikes), and debating taking a PhD in the fall --- sooo I won't deny I've been a bit absent from here and my art. BUT I am working on one or two new costumes, and planning to do a sculpture or two (time permitting). Currently I'm focusing on a Carth Onasi cosplay for my husband to wear alongside me as  Revan - watch for pics soon! I'm almost done the jacket, and have started modifying blasters for him. I recently went on a business trip to Edmonton, and at the behest of my advisor, got checked in at a particular hotel - and on a lark, found out it was on the same street as Bioware's Edmonton studio! With the help of my good friend ~PonytailedSlacker (https://www.deviantart.com/ponytailedslacker) I was able to touch base with one of Mass Effect's lead editors - and I ended up getting to meet her, and a number of the writers! I got a tour of the studio, and they are absolutely amazing, enthusiastic people. It made me love the series & studio even more. Has been gettin some love! Ahhh it's been such a spirit lifter - I'm in the midst of analyzing writing my Master's thesis right now, and preparing for 3 conferences/workshops I have in the next month.
